Carol's first cousin (their fathers were brothers); they lived on the Winn ranch near the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon. Several families lived on the ranch with cousins going to school together. Winn Ranch was 328 acres to the south of BCC (30th east); remained in the family from the 1920's to the 1970's when it was subdivided. Winn property was purchased from the Hilton family who came to the area in 1906 (and they purchased from Philander Butler).
