Peter Van Valkenberg lived in the Union area of Cottonwood Heights. He lived on Creek Road near the Union Cemetery. He was murdered, having been killed by a son-in-law and that son-in-law's friend. The murder was on 13th east and near 80th south. He was fixing his wagon and was shot. Peter is buried in Union Cemetery.

Sarah (Sadie) Proctor wife of Bert Proctor

Bert Proctor was one of three brothers. They lived north of Big Cottonwood Creek on Highland Drive. The family built multiple homes in the area and eventually extended to property near Creek Road.
